Admissions

CAMBRIDGE DEPARTMENT

We are happy to have you consider our school for your child. We look forward to getting to know
your child during every step of our admission process which allows us to develop a deep
understanding of a child and his/ her family.
ADMISSION TIMES
Students are enrolled on a yearly basis in term 1 and term 2. Admissions processes close after the
half term break in term 2 and open as we approach the end of term 3 (June). There is however
rolling admissions for the Early Years Foundation Stage throughout the school year, provided there
is vacancy.
New students to Grade 9 & 10 may start within the first two weeks of Term 1, after which, no new
applicants will be accepted, however exceptions may be made for unique cases which is solely at
the discretion of the school. We do not enrol students into Year 11, however for very unique family
situations an exception can be made, provided there is complete subject alignment and transcript
from previous school.
Final acceptance and admission into SPCIS will be based on a comprehensive review of all
documentation, applicant’s language proficiency level and additional learning support needs, if any.
SPCIS reserves the right to accept or reject an application. In cases where we must deny admission
to a candidate because we find that SPCIS would not be the most conducive environment for the
student, based on the services that we offer, we will try to assist families in finding a suitable
alternative.
ADMISSION PROCESS
We encourage parents to begin the admission process as early as possible. Before you decide to
apply to SPCIS, you must decide that SPCIS is right for you and your child. You can tour the school
(see campus tour section) and forward your enquiries to the Admission team. They will be glad to
assist and help you decide.
Applications are handled on a first-come-first served basis. Sometimes, we have a number of
candidates applying for the same spot, and in such instances, some applicants will have to be
offered spaces on the waiting list. Priority is given to siblings of current students in good standing
and alumni families who were in good standing. A child’s place on the waiting list is determined by

GES DEPARTMENTS (INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL)

At Saint Peter’s International School, we follow a structured and transparent admission process to ensure fairness and academic readiness. Below is an outline of the steps involved:

1. Application and Examination Invitation

Names of prospective students are compiled and shortlisted. Qualified applicants are invited to sit for an Entrance Examination on a scheduled date.

2. Assessment and Admission

Examination scripts are marked, and students who meet the required pass mark are selected. Successful applicants are then formally offered admission into the school.

3. Payment of Fees

Admitted students are issued school bills with a clearly stated deadline. Timely payment confirms the student’s place in the school.

4. Reporting to School

Once all financial and administrative requirements are fulfilled, newly admitted students are expected to report on the official reopening date to begin their academic journey at Saint Peter’s.
